Hello there! I’ve created this website to inform you about my services for dogs. I have worked full time since April 2013 at Pour La Pooch dog daycare. This translates to over 13,000 hours of experience caring for hundreds of different dogs, with an average daycare pack size of about 30 dogs at a time.  Additionally I was raised from birth with dogs and cats, and have raised my own dogs and cats from kittens and puppies to happy and healthy seniors.  I love animals and think I am better than most at understanding them and caring for them.

One day on Beverly Blvd my dog saw Justin drive by and wave.  Now, if my dog sees a similar car drive by that same spot on Beverly, he claws his way down the sidewalk and demands that we see if Justin is in the car.  He loooves Justin.   I like the fact that Justin sent some pics of my dog when I was gone for a week, and Justin has given me some canine nutrition tips that have helped me adjust my dog’s daily diet to address some stomach issues. We are so happy with Justin! Our dog, Sparkie, adores him and stays with him when we travel. Sparkie is super active and loving and Justin gives him the perfect amount of activities, like hiking, and then lets Sparkie snuggle with him in bed. It is so comforting to know that Sparkie is in good hands, having an amazing time, and knowing that Justin treats him as though he’s his own dog.  We also have a new stray rescue, Charlie,  who is very timid and unsocialized, and Justin is a dog whisperer with him. Justin is able to meet a dog where they are and give them the personalized treatment appropriate for their personality and disposition. I’ve used Justin’s day/overnight services for a few years now. My puppy Asia loves overnights with Justin it’s like a vacation to her. During the day they for many walks, hikes, up & down mountain trails. Lots of Pictures during the day & night included! I wish I could give Justin more than 5 stars!!! My Rosie girl could not be more in love with Justin and I am so thankful to have found him via Pour La Pooch. It’s so easy to communicate with Justin and he is so available to help out. My incredibly attached dog couldn’t care less about me when Justin is there and I’m so appreciative! Examples: I was recovering from surgery and Rosie stayed with him for a few days, he was then able to to pick her up and drop her off from daycare. He was super accommodating and I felt so secure knowing Rosie was with someone who loves her just as much as I do! As I’m sure you’ll see in all of the other reviews, Justin is fantastic.  It is clear to see that Justin has not only made a connection with all of the dogs he cares for, but has gone out of his way to make a connection with my dog.  It seems to be the peak of my dog’s day when he gets to hang out with Justin.   Justin has watched my dog over vacations, and came through in the absolute clutch on my wedding day, going so far above and beyond to help my wife out.  I trust Justin completely with my dog, and he is phenomenally communicative and responsive.  You can rest assured that if you’re leaving your dog with Justin, that dog is in great hands. Justin is basically a dog whisperer. My dog is fearful, reactive, and generally doesn’t like most people. But she adores Justin. And with good reason. When I go out of town it’s like she gets a vacation, too. Lots of hikes and play time with other dogs and lots of love and attention. Justin takes the best care of my dog Pix. He’s super communicative, very easy to get in touch with if you have any questions and regularly sends updates (and photos!) on how your dog is doing. She has separation anxiety but has truly bonded with Justin and feels totally comfortable with him. I never have to worry when we go out of town and always know that Pix is in good hands. Justin is incredible with dogs.  He always looks after ours when we are away.  My only complaint is that he’s so good, that it’s possible our dog loves him more than he does us.  Highly recommend without any hesitation. Francois M.
